1. Cancelling or changing your application
If we receive your cancellation request before your application has been successfully faxed to the IRS, we will refund your full service fee. We do not deduct preparation fees, even if we have already prepared your SS-4.
Before submission, you can also ask us to update your application information at no extra cost. We will send the revised application for your confirmation.
Once we have submitted your application as agreed, we generally do not provide cancellation refunds simply because you change your mind. Our responsibility for service errors or failure to provide the agreed service still applies.
The same company generally needs only one EIN. Cancelling GetEIN’s service does not withdraw an application already submitted to the IRS. Contact us before cancelling or making changes so we can confirm the next steps and avoid a duplicate application.
2. GetEIN service errors
If a GetEIN preparation or filing error requires a correction, we will help correct it or resubmit the application at no extra cost.
If we cannot complete the agreed application service for a reason on our side, we will refund the full service fee. Submission does not remove this responsibility.
3. IRS processing and results
The IRS controls processing times and the decision to issue an EIN. Ordinary IRS delays do not automatically qualify for a refund.
An IRS refusal does not by itself determine whether a refund is due. If our error caused the problem, we remain responsible under the service-error rules above.
4. Requesting a refund
Email [email protected] with your order or application number, company name, payment email address, and the reason for your request.
We will review your request and notify you of the outcome within 3 business days of receiving it.
After approval, we will initiate the refund through the original payment method within 5 business days. Your bank or payment provider may need additional time before the money reaches your account.
